THE INSPIRATION

Obsidian is a hard, dark, glasslike volcanic rock formed by the rapid solidification of lava without crystallization. Obsidian can be found in many places around Oregon, the home for both North and Smith. This inspired North to create a limited edition black tinted and etched Mt Hood Pint glass and Smith to make the Lowdown 2 available with glass lenses for the first time, offering the highest possible clarity and quality.
