The variety of Forest green tones woven into the towel define the geologic features of Mt. Rainier. The lightest shades represent the current glaciers, perennial snow fields and glacial sediment, while the darker tones show the various types of volcanic rock that makes up Washington's highest peak. The detailed topographic lines of Mt. Rainier are woven into the towel up to the summit at 14,411 ft in elevation.

We designed our towel to work with Pendleton's jacquard weaving process which gives a unique inverse design on the front and back of the towel.
