The Mt. Yotei Tumbler is our handblown, 8 oz glass with accurate 3D data of the iconic hiking and backcountry skiing destination in the Shikotsu-Toya National Park on the Northern island of Hokkaido in Japan molded into the base of the glass. Each glass comes individually packaged and is proudly made in the USA.
Mt. Yotei, known as Yotei-zan, is known worldwide as a legendary backcountry skiing and snow surfing destination. Just East of the Niseko ski resort area and standing tall at 1,898 m Yotei-zan is a nearly perfect conical volcano, often compared to Mt. Fuji. Some refer to the peak as Ezo Fuji, using "Ezo" as the old name of the island of Hokkaido.
The connection between Oregon and Japan runs deep, with similarities abound. Both cultures lead with kindness. Both have a deep love for simple, premium design. Both cultures commit to excellence in craft and food. Both have a deep culture of crafted spirits. Both are constantly renewed by bathing in nature to fill the soul. Both find inspiration from the volcanic peaks that tower in the distance. It is because of these similarities that we worked to create a glass to celebrate Japan made in Oregon.
Made in Portland, Oregon our glasses are lead-free and dishwasher-safe. All glasses are handmade, one-of-a-kind products that may have slight variations.
Every glass gives back through our partnership with One Percent for the Planet. We will donate 1% of our sales to Protect Our Winters Japan for all of our Japanese peaks.
