The Union Wine Co. Glass by North Drinkware depicts a 3D scene of the wooded Willamette Valley and Mt. Hood featuring Amity Vineyards, obviously not-to-scale. This 6oz stemless glass sets out to capture the feeling of standing in Oregon wine country while staring across the Willamette Valley onto the surreal backdrop of Mt. Hood. This new 6oz size, inspired by Spanish bodega wine glasses, is about 1cm shorter than our traditional 8oz tumbler.
We launch this glass in collaboration with Union Wine Co., located in the Northern Willamette Valley their name honors the diversity, spirit and character of Oregon. Their extended family includes Christopher Michael Wines and Amity Vineyards. The Union Wine Co. Brands: Underwood, Kings Ridge and Alchemist all deliver a uniquely Oregon wine experience at accessible prices.
The unpretentious spirit of The Union Wine Co. was a perfect pairing for the adventurous spirit of the North brand. Amity Vineyards, one of the first pioneering Oregon wineries, was founded in 1974 by winemaker Myron Redford, who moved to Oregon with a dream to make world class Pinot Noir. Inspired by the rich heritage and unique growing conditions that are a part of these hills, Ryan Harms from Union Wine Co. & his brother, Eric Harms, purchased the winery in 2014 with the goal to bring new energy to this founding winery.
Made in Portland, Oregon our glasses are lead-free and dishwasher safe. All glasses are handmade one-of-a-kind products that may have slight variation.
