Mt. Yotei, known as Yotei-zan, in the Shikotsu-Toya National Park on the Northern island of Hokkaido in Japan, is known worldwide as a legendary backcountry skiing and snow surfing destination. Just East of the Niseko ski resort area standing tall at 1,898 m Yotei-zan is a nearly perfect conical volcano, often compared to Mt. Fuji. Some refer to the peak as Ezo Fuji, using "Ezo" as the old name of the island of Hokkaido.
Our Mt. Yotei glass and coaster includes all of the detail of this snow surfing peak that has inspired skiers and riders for decades. Dig into our Crux Series with Alex Yoder about his connection with Yotei and the inspiring Gentemstick brand, located at the base of this inspiring icon.
